About me

31 years + in the printing industry! Hate to admit it, but I go way back to the mechanical paste-up days and have done everything including paste-up, process camera work (including separations), scanning, litho stripping, proofing, platemaking, design, producton art, prepress and yes, even a little press work on sheetfed and web (very little)!
These days I'm directing a Production Art department, including a digital photo studio for a major marketing firm.

How I Use Acrobat

We use Acrobat for a variety of purposes. The mark-up feature is great for communication between our satellite offices around the country and overseas, speeding layout development and production. We also use Acrobat and Acrobat forms extensively for differnt client needs from simple forms to higher end interactive products on the Web and CD/DVD. Of course, all of our internal corporate communication has been converted to Acrobat forms as well.

My Skills

Ours is an Adobe based workflow and we employ the usual suspects. Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I strive to get the most out of each of these products and am involved in continual training.
