About me

I live in SE. GA, just above Jacksonville, FL. I love the computer, karaoke, music, gem and diamond hunting, crafts, and so much more. I've competed in Colgate Country Showdown and Orlando Country Idol. I have family all over TX, NM and OK. My goal is to retire or relocate near Bonham, TX or possibly near www.craterofdiamondsstatepark.com so I may retire with some diamonds. I found my first diamond last September but it was only .18 of a carat. I have learned there are other places to dig for other gemstones in nearby states and am dying to try that. I have been creating videos, dvd's, graphics and phtoos of a local band and sure love that.

How I Use Acrobat

I use Acrobat for many reasons as a grahic designer. Many service bureaus require pdf's. I began creating forms with Acrobat about three years ago and am still learning as I only took Acrobat 6 or 7 Intro course and the rest is self taught. I do use Adobe products and have since 1988.

My Skills

I consider myself Intermediate - Advanced Levels in Illustrator, Corel Draw and Photoshop. I've been using In-Design about four years but mainly for brochures. I use Illustrator and Photoshop more than anything to design fliers, posters, art for slideshow/videos, programs for events, marketing products for employee recruitment, etc. I do mostly print but some multi-media. I will soon be a content manager for my office website via MOSS at my workplace but am still in training. I really want to learn how to create my own web pages and have a myspace page but prefer to get off of that, I realize that is basic and has it's disadvantages.
