About me
My formative years were divided between the U.S. and Europe. Twenty years in the Submarine Service gave me an appreciation of what teamwork, collaboration and leadership can accomplish.
Currently employed by Dominion, I am the Safety Analysis Report Coordinator at Millstone Power Station in Connecticut.
As such I coordinate the documents’ change process, maintain the documents in FrameMaker and publish revisions to PDF, provide CD-ROMs for distribution, and update/maintain on line libraries on web and network servers.
How I Use Acrobat
These days I use Acrobat predominately to maintain and provide the finishing touches to the interactive PDF document collections provided on web and network servers. Additionally, it is used to finalize submittals to the NRC as Section 508 Accessible output PDF.
My Skills
I've used Acrobat since version 3.x and FrameMaker since version 5.0. Following the path of learning FrameMaker lead to becoming an Adobe Certified Expert for FrameMaker.
While I have and use other Adobe products Acrobat, Distiller, and FrameMaker have been my major focus of study
