About me

I have been working with Acrobat almost exclusively since September 2000 (we're talking 8 hours a day, 5 days a week). Back then it was with version 5. I have been working in the Graphic Design industry since 1980 doing freelance as well as full time positions. I have been with my current employment for almost 20 years. When not working with a computer I bake bread and teach myself musical instruments.

How I Use Acrobat

I make PDF of four monthly full color English magazines and 16+ language versions of one of the magazines. I also add interactivity to PDF forms upon request from the Forms Design department which may also include rebuilding forms in LiveCycle Designer. I also help others in various departments Acrobat and PDF solutions. I also help to maintain a Share Point web site on the company's intranet that deals with the subject of Acrobat and PDF and LiveCycle Designer. I do my best to keep the department moving forward on the Acrobat scene with each new release of Acrobat that comes out.

My Skills

I have had about 8 years of experience with Adobe Acrobat which includes not only working with it but teaching a few classes within the department I work in. Since no one else wants to tackle it I am the designated Acrobat JavaScript guy. So even though I'm not really the programmer type I make a passing attempt at it. And it can actually be fun and exciting at times.
