Scotland Acrobat User Group

Meeting Notes Archive

May 23, 2006

The Scottish Acrobat User Group was officially launched on the 23rd of May 2006.

The meeting and launch event were attended by a wide variety of users from various disciplines including government, financial, IT and design companies. Thanks also for the support of the staff from the local Adobe office who attended the launch.

Lori DeFurio from Adobe Systems and Ted Osuch from Tidalfire provided the opening presentations.

As Chapter Leader, Ted talked about the goals of the user group and of the importance of the participation of its members and their feedback on various aspects of the meeting topics, presenters and meeting locations.

Lori provided an overview of Adobe's support for the user groups worldwide and mentioned some of the different ways in which other user groups were managing their meetings. Lori concluded with a presentation on Adobe Acrobat 3D — the latest addition to the Acrobat family of tools.

The feedback from the attendees who attended the launch is being used to create the agenda for the future user group meetings.

Ted Osuch
Chapter Leader
