Adobe Acrobat – Question Time

In support of the Acrobat User Community Forums and the sharing of expertise throughout the global Acrobat community, the Scottish Acrobat User Group is proud to bring together a group of Acrobat Experts – directly from Adobe.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you could ask an Acrobat expert any question at all and have it answered?

Here is your big opportunity.

At the SAUG meeting on the 31st of May you will be able to put your questions to a panel of Adobe Acrobat experts ready, willing and eager to answer any Acrobat question you care to throw at them.

Chairing the event will be Ted Osuch who bares absolutely no resemblance to David Dimbleby.

The panel of Acrobat Experts for the evening will be:

• Malcolm Thomson, Senior Developer Support Engineer, Adobe Systems


• Simon Haringa, Technical Support Engineer, Adobe Systems


• Gordon Barker, Technical Account Manager, Adobe Systems, Adobe Systems

The questions can be on any topic relating to Adobe Acrobat – we are even open to non-Acrobat related questions.

In order to ensure that as many questions get answered as possible, please submit your Acrobat related questions by email (even if you cannot attend) to:

When submitting your questions please provide as much information (especially if it is a technical query):

• Your Operating System


• Version of Acrobat


• What the issue is


• What are the steps that you carry out that cause the particular incident to occur?


• Any other additional information that you feel would be useful for the team

We will also be able to take questions on the evening for those who cannot attend but can connect using Acrobat Connect at:

All of the answered questions will be posted on the Acrobat Community website after the meeting.

Prize Draw

We will have also have 2 copies of Adobe Acrobat 8 (Windows only - sorry Mac users) available as part of the prize draw.

The usual food and refreshments will be available after the panel event.
