When: Thursday, June 15th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM
Where: The New School –located at 55 West 13th Street (see map for directions)
Who: Featured guest speaker: Mr. Larry Happy – Vice President, Training: American Graphics Institute (AGI). Larry is a skilled designer, professional trainer and educator with 20 years experience in the publishing field. He has served as a technical editor for numerous books on Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign. He’s also an Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
What:
Larry will discuss effective ways to use PDF Forms technology.
We’ll look at ways to get closer to a paperless work environment – ranging from the individual desktop, to the workgroup environment, and large organizations.
The technologies are available, but the issues can get complicated when it comes to implementation. Larry will help explain the possibilities and the pitfalls.The Agenda

12:30 - 1:00 PM: Featured guest speaker: Larry Happy, American Graphics Institute
1:15 - 1:30 PM: Todd McIndoo is a founding participant of the NY Acrobat Users Group. Todd will discuss the collaborative features of PDF, demonstrate the latest scanning technologies and talk about back end database integration to store and retrieve information in a shared network environment.
1:30 to 2:00 PM: – Question & Answers, meeting input and feedback for next meeting in August, networking, exchange business cards and contact information.
