Leonard Rosenthol, from Adobe, will be in Lincoln to talk about how PDF has evolved from the simple ePaper world of Acrobat 1.0 to the rich digital envelope that it is today - and why that evolution has created the need for various "subsets" of PDF for specific industries. Learn about PDF for publishers & printers, PDF for long term archival and more. In addition, Leonard will also spend some time talking about how to secure and protect your PDFs and their contents.

Leonard has recently returned to Adobe Systems as the PDF Standards Evangelist. He comes back to Adobe following over 10 years of involvement in the PDF world. During that time he worked as the Director of Software Development for Appligent, and the Chief Innovation Officer for Apago, while also running the successful consulting business of PDF Sages. Before becoming involved in PDF, Leonard was the Director of Advanced Technology for Aladdin Systems and responsible for the development of the StuffIt line of products.
