It seems hardly a year ago since we launched the first AdobeLive AUG stand, but last week the arrival of Lori DeFurio reminded us that this was indeed our second appearance at Adobe UK’s very successful AdobeLive event.

This year it was held at the Business Design Centere, Islington in Central London and we had a steady stream of members and potential members to the stand – asking the usual diverse selection of Acrobat questions, especially following the recent launch of Adobe Acrobat v8 3D.

Lori (pictured) found time to slip in two Acrobat presentations, both of which ended up as ‘standing room only’. On the second day she took the step of reminding attendees of the existence of the AUG prize draw, which meant that Ian was alarmed to find himself inundated with hordes of delegates demanding draw tickets as he was mid-demonstration at the stand – many of whom were soon to become lucky winners.

Thanks to XChange International, Total Training and Adobe/Adobe Press for the wonderful prizes, and of course to Adobe UK stalwarts David S, Lachlan and Sandra B for their help in making the stand one of the best dressed. And to Lori for making the long flight over!
