Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation October 25th, 2006 on Acrobat 8 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. We hope you enjoyed the breakfast and the t-shirts you received as a thank you gift!

Rick Borstein and Mark E. Middleton from Adobe presented the big new features in Acrobat 8, including: redaction, Shared Reviews, PDF Packages, enabling form save and commenting in the free Reader, and the new PDFMaker features including Automatic Archival from Microsoft Outlook. Although the presentation had a legal services spin, everyone found the information invaluable. We will be diving in to more of these capabilities at future meetings, including areas where there were plenty of questions from attendees, such as scanning to searchable PDF, enabling functionality in the free Reader and the new Shared Reviews commenting workflow.
