As previously blogged, the firehose of information over the next couple of days may intimidate and overwhelm many attendees at the Acrobat & PDF Central Conference as they attend back-to-back, expert-led sessions and presentations covering the gamut of Acrobat applications. Even the best notetakers are likely to find their skills taxed.
Last year one of the big hits was a compiled collection of all speaker presentations, assembled into a slick PDF Portfolio by Dustin Tauer of Easel Solutions. The 2009 version is nearing completion, I'm told, and with luck will be available when the main conference begins tomorrow -- and it's going to be even more impressive and useful than last year, from what I've heard. Not all of the presentations will be equally useful to those who did not attend the conference, but if nothing else, it'll likely be another great example of what you can do with the PDF Portfolio capability in Acrobat. (If you'd like to see some other good examples, peruse the PDF Portfolios Gallery at AcrobatUsers.com.)
We'll upload or post a link to the 2009 Acrobat & PDF Central portfolio as soon as it's ready.
