My upcoming AcrobatUsers Tech Talk: Making PDFs Comply with Section 508

AcrobatUsers.com logoOn December 10th I'll be conducting a Tech Talk on the subject of making PDF files comply with Section 508.

PDF files can and must comply with Section 508 - it's really not that hard.  For most simple documents, it's enough to know the basic rules of the road, master a few key concepts, and you are tagging PDFs with confidence.  More complex documents require more advanced skills and a few key clues to working in Adobe Acrobat.

I'm going to talk fast, but the advantage of a webinar is that you get to review it again if there's something you missed the first time.

This session will focus on ensuring that the key concepts of document structure are conveyed. Once we've covered that ground, we'll talk about one thing I hear a lot about: how to set rowspan and colspan in complex tables. To get much out of it, you'll need to be running Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.

Sign up for 75 minutes of fast-talkin' PDF accessibility wisdom, and do it right now!  What could be more fun!
